Camp Tapawingo Equestrian Center Open House!

We’re so pleased to announce that the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois celebrated their equestrian center’s open house this past weekend. In conjunction with the Central Illinois Council's 100th Anniversary Camporee, the open house encouraged Girl Scouts and parents to explore the new equestrian facility, partake in s’mores and hot dogs around a campfire, walk the grounds, and enjoy an autumn hayride.

The state-of-the-art equestrian center that Domokur Architects designed was completed last spring, and throughout the summer campers and staff have enjoyed the upgraded amenities that the center offers. From educational classrooms located directly inside the stables to large stalls capable of saddling and housing horses year-round, the equestrian center has been quite a success.

Join us in congratulating the Girl Scouts of
Central Illinois on their 100th Anniversary!
